Talk to me about CP filters in-flight. My limited understanding is that you have to rotate a CP filter to align it for the angle of the particular shot. So how prey tell can this be effective in flight? It's not like the CP filter rotates itself as the Solo is turning, changing altitude, or tilting the camera.

Basically they're most effective when facing an angle 90 degrees orthogonal to the light source - typically the sun. If you're using a third party lens on the GoPro with a non-rotating CP filter exercise caution when installing to prevent un-focusing your lens.
