Some GPS questions

I am considering upgrading to the m8n gps. I looked on eBay and am finding them for about $15to$25 but they are not Mro brand. Mro brand from the Mro site is $60.
My question is this. Why is there so much difference in price? Am I just paying for the Mro brand?

From what I've read here, what you are talking about are likely UBlox counterfeit or have typical issues of not fully supported fw. Searching the forum, the topic has been discussed for years. I know a few have had success with these "cheap" modules, but like everything it comes at a cost.... @fpvsteve is one person that got a working solution that I'd trust, he's about the only one I'd trust to believe it to be so on this particular subject...

My opinion, I'd stick to either the mRo or the HERE offerings. K.I.S.S.
