Solo Backpacks

Decision: price aside, would people recommend the GPC Solo Ltd Ed Backpack, or the ThinkTank Airport Helipak Solo backpack? I need it as an airplane carry-on, so I'd like to be able to fit extra's in there (noise cancelling headphones, tablet, ultrabook, chargers, etc) and the 3DR backpack doesn't fit the bill.

Which has better storage beyond carrying Solo gear - and would your view on the GPC Rush72 pack change if it had internal packing in the ThinkTank/Lowepro Dronegard style instead of the foam cutouts?

My ThinkTank Airport Helipak 485 Solo came in about a week ago. I'm taking a trip to WA.
I can't compare a cutout foam backpack, cause i don't have one.
Helipak 485 holds more then i could have imagined.

I think my second Solo with controller can also fit, If i unbolt legs from Solo, Then stack them on top of one another with thin foam separating them.

With out the Solo #2, it's holds everything in place.
Comfortable to carry.

Hi.. I would love to have a backpack but, when shiping abroad US, every pound counts ($$). I have seen a DIY tutorial to use the factory package as backpack.. My question is.. will the solo with the gimbal fit?
