Long story short; my Go Pro Hero 3+ Black using firmwares 1.0x, 2.0x work great -- but I don't have full functionality (ghosted record button) within the 3DR app. When I upgrade to 3.0x firmware, I'm able to see the record button, edit settings, etc BUT the go pro will just cycle through a rebooting sequence (displaying video) until it dies. I've tried all possible sequences of powering up everything and double and triple checked all cables. I also get an error message stating that the Go Pro in the gimbal is invalid and not compatible.
I have a few solos and I've tried them all, with the same result. I've also made sure to put everything into medium settings.
My firmware versions are as follows:
App - 2.4.0
Solo - 2.4.2
Autpilot - 1.3.1
Gimbal - 1.3.6
Controller - 2.4.2
Controller Firmware - 1.2.11
Go Pro Firmware that works with no continuous power cycling: 2.00 (HD3.10.02.00)
Is this something that is normal? Am I just going to have to go back to some Hero 4's
