I’m intrigued by SidePilot versus the overall cost of Solex. Am wondering if anyone using SidePilot on a Wi-Fi-only iPad has found the lack of GPS to be limiting? Also interested in any general thoughts good or bad on SidePilot as a mission planner by anyone who has used it for real.

it will only be an issue if you try follow me. That is the only thing that relies on your device gps position, Home and navigation is handled on board

Thanks for that. Are you a SidePilot user- and how do you like it, if so?

I have it but don't use it much, I try and support everyone doing good work on the little guy. I still use the stock solo IOS app for follow me, it just seems to work better. But for almost everything else it Solex now days

I use both. I like both. You can update to Open Solo 3.0.0 and Green Cube with both.

I find that IOS is more stable than Android. Therefore Sidepilot is more stable but has fewer features.

When Solex works, I like it better because of the extra features.
