Replacing stock motors

Has anybody replaced the stock motors with something different? I am thinking of replacing my ESC's and motors for something new. Probably going to use the Xrotor 20a ESC's.

Thanks! some good info in there, the T-motors look like a good candidate. Wondering if anyone has done this with there X8?

Is the motor on the Solo the same as the X8+? There is no label of any kind on my motors, I don't know what their rating is. I've flown mine only a few times now and it sounds kind of "twitchy" although I don't see it behaving unusual.
