Problems updating Solo Controller - stuck on "Controller Updated"

On both the 1.3.0 and 2.0 upgrades, my controller froze on the "Controller Updated" screen. You're prompted to "Press A" to continue but that did nothing, nor did the power button. I had to disconnect power to recover.
Has anybody else had that problem?

I'm updating the controller from an Android device -- Galaxy Tab 4 running Android 4.4.2.

I've heard of someone in the past that had trouble doing the upgrade on an Android but it worked on an iPhone. You might want to delete the app from your Android install fresh and try again.

I had the same issue. Battery pull fixed it. Booted right up and works great.

I too had the same problem and the same solution. Pulling the battery in the controller did the trick.
