Solo one is getting the upgrade, lets see how it goes,
Got the mast yesterday, seems like it was no necessary to cut a hole
For the harness and everything will fit thru the top hole by the mast base
Still thinking if need a custom harness or splice and solder myself,
The harness on the here is long enough to reach the compass plug
Might go this route. The tricky part for me will be settting the parameter
For the compass orientation, APM Planner is a little tricky for me
Will se how it goes.

Thanks, yeah T motors will be nice, Solo one has been good to me, first flight today took off with 19 satellites, super fast lock, haven't hook up the compass yet taking my time to do it right,

Use "Tower" to change the compass orientation parameter to 0, much easier.

I did the compass on the Here today, changed compass orientation on APM Planner from 38 to 0, did a compass calibration on solo App and all good, did 3 flights, took off with 19 sats in seconds
It goes right to Fly hardly any waiting for satellites.
Ended splicing the leg compass, you need to cut the wire 10cm from the plug( I cut too short and had to add) and the here harness cut right from the plug. I follow Speatuk wiring instructions

The compass side was tricky
But not to worrie, Here Orange- green solo compass pin 2
Here yellow- white Solo compass pin 3.
I You do everything right when When Solo boots HERE's LEDs
Will light up, that's a good feeling. Now, do not use epoxy to
Glue the mast to the cover, it will crack loose, only the best 3M tape, clean surface with alcohol for better adherence, The least you want is the mast to come loose doring flight, thanks averybody for the help

Why is that mast so big? Other than maybe it needs to be that big in order to make the 3d printed design strong enough?

I looks big on images, but actually is not, I have the one you are talking about
And choose to install the IMP one, is more robust, cable is no exposed and more robust. I reccomend it.

Hello, good I'm new and I recently bought the 3dr only second hand, and I have another project a GPS RTK HERE + v2. I want to install it, but when verifying data related to versions I notice that I have differences. First of all I have one with the firmware version installed on the RTK. Therefore, I cannot understand if CUBE GREEN needs to be installed for 3drSOLO to be accurate. I understand that it is a somewhat obsolete drone but I would be interested in improving it. I really appreciate the help. Thank you
