Nex 5 triggering on 3dr Solo

HI all,
Sorry for the following noob questions, but I'm stuck since few days and I would really appreciate some light from you guys.

I'm trying to hook up time triggering to a sonyNex5 on a 3dr solo. I found only this thread:
Camera Shutter Triggering using Stratosnapper — Copter documentation
Which is hard to follow, since Stratosnapper V2 are not foundable in US.
I switch to that:
Tuffwing - Trigger a Sony Nex with a Pixhawk and IR Trigger cable
But I have trouble to find a place to soldier it on the 3dr board, I was expecting to have pin in their?

So it means that I need to purchase a 3dr Accessorie board, to plug my IR cable in ? Right?

@franknitty69 sells a board. Also, you could soldier directly to the Solo board. Here are the pinouts:

It would be highly advisable to purchase the cheap JAE connector (linked in the dev guide you linked to) and solder to that rather than soldering directly to the solo board. That way it's easily removable and you won't mess the connector up so other things can be plugged into it.
