I'm looking to follow Rolands888's footsteps by upgrading to tiger motors and then fine tuning the balance. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on putting together a rig similar to what he had done before. Is the sensor ideally placed perpendicular to the motor's axis of rotation? Should the motorpod and vibration sensor be fixed to a solid object or allowed to move freely? Any experience or insight anyone wishes to share?
I know it can be done well enough with with an iPhone, but that doesn't bring me any satisfaction.
