Iris won't connect to radio or tower or droid planner

I tried binding the remote which seems to work but nothing when I go to fly. I can't initialize from the remote. I was getting gps lock but now I'm just getting blue red flashing. Thanks ahead of time.

Well it's connecting to the controller now but it gets about a 100ft away and the remote starts beeping then it returns home. Seems like the range on the remote is extremely limited. Is this a geofence problem is a reception problem?
