IOS trouble with Solo

Hello

I am trying to update my Solo remote before the first flight. I am using an iPhone 6. I connect to the Solo's wifi, and it shows connected on the iPhone but when I open the Solo app it says that I am not connected, and when I try and update the RC or anything else the instructions to connect the iPhone to the wifi network pop up. Any ideas?

Are both the Solo and the Controller on when you are doing this? When doing updates, Solo and Controller should both be on and paired. When the app says it's not connected, it usually means not connected to Solo unless the message specifically states not connected to wifi.
