Interesting- thanks for posting.
Regarding point 2, drone deliveries would be a target for thieves, a drone could possibly put the package in your back yard instead of the front porch. UPS won't do that- normally.

It would be difficult to protect against devices like the Battelle Drone Defender and many similar devices likely to be in the hands of everyone from Police to Mall Cops.

Dude should have kept his mouth shut. "Prove I flew it on those flights- talk to my lawyer".

On the other hand I commend him for taking responsibility for his actions.
