Installing Open Solo on Stock Site Scan?

I suppose the title says it all,
I'm wondering if anyone has attempted or had any success installing Open Solo 3.0.0 onto a stock Solo Site Scan?
Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm relatively new to Solos so I may be missing some obvious details that would point me in the right direction.

I don't have a Solo Site Scan, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that installing anything other than exactly what 3DR tells you to would murder your warranty. If the warranty is already up, then it should work, I don't know of any reason it wouldn't.
