How do I use GoPro 3+ Silver?

Bought GoPro 3+ silver not knowing it had to be a black edition. Can I still use the silver or will it not work at all? Thank you in advance.

Good news and bad news. The good news is that you CAN use your GoPro 3+ Silver in the Solo gimbal, and you'll be able to have live video feed to your remote app AND capture good video on the GoPro's SD card. The bad news is that you'll not be able to control the camera's functions remotely. You'll have to set all the desired modes on the camera itself, and start recording by pressing the button on the camera itself before takeoff. Needless to say, the good news far outweighs the bad news.
