HI all, Im new to this forum. I just got the Solo from Best buy and have not had a chance to fly it yet but charged the batteries last night. When it was done charging two batteries, the charger itself was very hot. Is this normal? I emailed tech support earlier today but did not get a response yet.

Thanks

It's normal for it to get pretty warm. As long as it doesn't get so hot is hard to touch - and doesn't smell like burning plastic which is the first obvious indicator of trouble - you're probably ok.

Yes this normal, I have 10 chargers all will get very warm, because heat causes fire, never charge unsupervised. Although no cases of this in this forum, this is an essential rule when charging lithium batteries.

Move you fire extinguisher next to your charging station for worse case scenario.
