I've only been in this hobby for about 2 months. I was lucky enough to pick up a couple of Solos in the local community sales so I start to read this forum to learn. The Solos that I picked up were not working at the time. I was able to get them back to life, thanks to the folks here. I must say there is tons of good information in this forum to get anyone started. I researched and did not have to post any questions because all the information is available here. Anyway, on one of the Solos, I had to do the cardboard mod to pick the satellites and performed level and compass calibrations. I thought that I have to do the green cube mod but a couple of smacks in the Solo belly woke the internal barometer (as suggested by one of the threads here). The Solo now fly like a champ, not thanks to the rookie operator. The second Solo will soon be working, I ordered a couple of motor pods from BH and as soon as they get to the house, it will be working as well.
