Handheld gimbal mode?

Hey I can dream.

I LOVE how the yuneec q500 can take its gimbal off and into a hand held mechanic.
Do you think this is possible with the solo gimbal?

Shouldn't be too difficult. For basic 3-axis stabilization you would only need to have a small battery to provide power, and a carrier built that mimics the bottom off the Solo. Most 3rd party Gimbals will stabilize with power only. No need for separate control, but could add a switch for tilt/rotate as well.

I use an FY-G3 Handheld gimbal and it works great. No need to take apart your bird. I assume that taking that gimbal off will become a headache after a while, especially if every time you need to remove it you have to deal with the rubber dampeners.
