Believe it or not, this company that made Quadcopter FX Simulator is the same one that made the Solo Simulator.

Not yet but that's the goal. To be able to use the controller on things other than Solo.

Cool, I like options. But I REALLY want a sim that uses the Solo controller for $afe practicing in ACRO mode (et al). I already have Quadcopter FX, it would be nice to be able to pair it with Solo's controller.

Personally, as much as I'd love that I would rather they didn't focus on that. There are other simulators out there that already do this just without the model of the Solo. 3DR has limited resources so they prioritize on what they focus on which is refining the real thing.

Being able to use the Solo controller in other simulators on the other hand...

Today I got the Yuneec simulator. Best simulator I've ever seen. I wish it worked with other remotes. It's as realistic as real gets, motor sounds n' all. Wish Solo had something like this.

Today I got the Yuneec simulator. Best simulator I've ever seen. I wish it worked with other remotes. It's as realistic as real gets, motor sounds n' all. Wish Solo had something like this.

Wow! I just watched a couple of recent YouTube videos demonstrating the simulator. It does look great.

However, I did read a comment that there is no camera view like you get in the Solo Simulator. Is that correct?
