Greetings brothers in flight, my name is Alex.
Got into drones last year. I have been flying ever since. I started with the 3DR Iris Plus.
Two week ago i bought the SOLO package at FRYS.
Surprisingly I had no trouble bringing it back to Manila. I hand carried it in the Solo Backpack.

Since I bought my Solo tons of things have happened to it. All good, just one bad.
Nope I didn't crash it. I had a faulty gimbal.
so I submitted a ticket to 3DR and they were nice enough to consider my situation.
They sent me a return label from the Philipines to San Diego for free.
They are replacing the gimbal

I have also registered my Solo with the FAA before I went home to Manila.
Two days ago my accessories arrived.
Alfa Antennas, PolarPro's LED headlight and tail-light, and Prop protectors.

It looks rad!!!

I just hope that with all these upgrades my flying time won't get affected.... that much

I just back from jakarta last two days carrying my new solo without any problems in airport security. But now i had problems with my gimbal bit noise and the gopro hangs i did remove battery and reset gopro settings it works im worried again it happen again becoz no 3dr repair center here in philippines.

you can send 3dr an email or chat with them real time.
that's what i did for my gimbal.
