Well... Actually I don't believe you do. At least just to fly it.

I believe you only need the GPS if you are doing a dependent "Smart Shot" such as follow me.

I was just flying my drone in the parking lot at work and for the first time I am getting a whistling sound from the rotors?? Has anyone experienced this with their Solo?
