Is the GoPro Hero 5 compatible with the 3dr Solo drone?

No, not in the plug and play way that the 3&4 are designed to be...it physically doesn't fit in the goal and has no HDMI out for FPV on the controller.

Search using the forum search should shown a couple of threads with more detail on what people have tried.

The gopro hero 5 black works perfectly on the solo just not with the gimbal. The session 5 doesn't have HDMI out the hero 5 black does.
