Geofence/RTL/Flying auto outside the radio range

is there anyway to remove geo-fence while flying manually? How do you interrupt the rtl once the gro-fence is reached? On auto mode flying a flight plan programed through Mission Planner or Tower, will Iris+ fly outside of the radio range (assuming the geofence parameters have been changed). Thanks for any insight.

Yes. Via Mission Planner running on a Windows machine, or the Mac version called APM Planner. You need to get into the failsafe parameters and make a couple changes...at your own risk of course. You cannot do this whilst in flight and in manual mode....at least safely. Once radio range is exceeded, the RC failsafe will bring the Iris back, or land, depending on how you set the failsafe parameter. Look in APM:Copter for details.
