    Rob here 2 hours south of Sydney Australia .. (north nowra )
    Anyhow as a 4 year DJI user i have finaly come to the good side , DJI SUCK !
    I had a P1 , P2 ,P2+ P3 P4 ,,,,,,,
    Im over the bull with DJI they dont help , there software is crap ,,
    I have now a SOLO and love it ,,,
    Open souce is great ,
    The Solo flys better than any DJI i have owned , easy setup , and love having 3 gopro`s already ,,, just click and vids are on the laptop ready to edit ,,,
    I have (i think ) a late solo (i took it apart to see whats in side ) easy as ,,,Gps board is Black ,

    Anyhow i`m lovin it ,,,,
    Oh and a great forum ,,

    Welcome Gravel

    Good to see another Aussie on the site. I am from rural NSW. This is a good site, plenty of information here and most members will help out with any answers you may need, but do some searching first before asking, most of the answers are here. Have a good read of the manual too, cheers, Rob P

    On the coast at nowra (near jervis bay )
    This way ,,,,
    The only drama im having realy is to download flight data , On the DJI it was an easy plug the bird in and hit download ,, I believe i have to do thru the app ,,, I will crack it in the end

    Rob, I use a windows 10 laptop to download logs, see this link

    It is easy and fast. I also have mission planner on my laptop for viewing logs etc, I am no expert but it works for what I want to do, here is the link

    I actually work for a Nowra based company, Air Affairs and are usually in the area once a month. Will let you know when I am down next (probably mid June)

    My feelings about DJI too. They do make a good quadcopter but, I don't like all the restrictions. It's like an apple drone.
