Can someone tell me how to set up a FPV to the Solo Controller.
I have the Viewer, cables and all that is needed, but cannot get the Viewer to
display the camera feed through the HDMI port on the controller. When hooked
up to a monitor, only get the "3DR" logo.

Solo is very "wonky" about providing a reliable signal through that port- nobody seems to know why.

Make sure your cable is reaching deep enough into the port.
I had to cut the plastic away from the connector on my cord. Even then I couldn't get a reliable signal.

I finally resorted to using a Slimport to connect the cable to my Nexus 7.

Cable is in the port as far as is possible.
Got a new cable due to arrive tomorrow, if no luck with this one, it's Plan B.
Getting a Slimport is plan C.

Ok, good luck. Let us know what happens- others may find it useful.

After a few Emails with Fat Shark, they say for their Panel to work with an HDMI feed, the source (controller) has to be set to 720P.
Not sure that is the case with the Solo, but I am guessing it is not, or even possible.
Plan B is a setup as this guy describes.

Finally, success. The setup the guy above described works well.
First, this cable...
Pearstone High-Speed HDMI to Micro HDMI Cable HDD-103 B&H Photo
to go from the controller to this...
https://www.amazon.com/GANA-Composite-Converter-Adapter-Supporting/dp/B01KXI8LZE
which needed to be powered by this...
https://www.amazon.com/Gear-Head-Wallet-Size-Powerbank-PB1800BLU/dp/B00LBZGRVE
Then finally, this cable...
Fat Shark Video-Only RCA to 4p Prong Cable (6.6') FSV2005 B&H
To go from the HDMI-AV converter to the goggles.
Not too cumbersome when you attach the Converter/battery on a belt clip.
All for about 1/3 the cost of a Slimport. Might still get a Slimport down the line to compare any display differences.

ps, If you can find another source for this cable...
Fat Shark Video-Only RCA to 4p Prong Cable (6.6') FSV2005 B&H
get it. Probably get it quicker and for less.
