First time for everything

I bought a DJI Phantom Vision when they first came out.
Flew it several times than got the solo.
iI have flew the Solo about 7 times now.
i have never flew ether one by useing the camera to see where it was going.
Until today.
i finely got the camera and phone all working together and was able to see through the glare on the phone.
quite interesting flying it through the eyes of the camera.
two flights and everything worked well.

How far out did you go? At some point you (meaning; me) have to relay on the camera.. Glad you got everything in sync!

You get used to flying beyond visual. Maybe not close to trees as its hard to judge distance with the stock GoPro lens.

This is old V+ video but this is a typical cruise for me.

this was all new to me .
first time i did this .
was watching the drone not through the camera.

made the phone on the brightest leval than everything fell into place.
i could see through the glare on the phone.
