Hello pilots. New in this 3DR forum.
I have the 3DR solo and this aftermarket cam.
Power to the the camera is easy and covered.
It has pan and tilt servos wired by way of servo/receiver plugs.
Is there a simple way to connect these servos to the Solo???
The gimball does NOT need to be stabilized.
I just need power to the servos for pan and tilt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You in advance.

Plenty of info on this site, just search rc6 or add servos.

I have made my own camera mount for a nikon j5 and use rc6 to operate a tilt servo and rc7 for shutter, you need open solo installed to allow ch7. The tilt is controlled by the paddle on the controller and shutter is by the pause button.

You will need to experiment to see if your servos will work, I have tried a few to get it right. I have soldered wires to the main board to pick up the servo signal and used the 3dr solo gimbal plug to get power and ground.

Hope this helps

Yeah, I saw your bird when I was cruising the forums. Inventive way to incorporate a digital worker to an analog slave. Sorta. Lol.
I appreciate the info, I had looked so long I was running out of things to search for servo help.
I knew I would find an answer here.
Smooth flyin to ya pilot.
