If I was looking to try something different this does appeal to me a lot more than Karma. Karma just looks like an expensive toy to me.

25% lighter than karma
35% longer flights than karma and probably almost 2x Solo's flight time
$999 (or $750 if youre a filthy casual who doesnt want the radio lol)

people here can shit on DJI all they want...this is a fairly nice step forward in a small package.

I will probably never own a Karma but I could see shelling out 1k for Mavic. when I look at this I see a serious piece of equipment with some nice capabilities. When I look at Karma I see a shiny overpriced toy that can use the new H5 and has less range and capabilities than Solo.

i agree buying a quadcopter during the winter months is kinda silly (especially in the rainy PNW) unless you're going on vacation somewhere warm
i really dont think there's going to be anything that will rival this until next year's Phantom 5 or a new inspire which are all in a different class.
