Connecting pc to solo to internet

How do I connect my pc and solo to the internet? Ever since I update from 1.1.15 to 1.1.20. I can't connect to the Internet anymore. I want to create my own software using Linux and python to program the solo. Can someone give me some direction as to go about doing that.

In general, you don't connect the PC to the Internet at the same time as the Solo. It is on a private 10.0.0.1 network. I suppose you could dual home a PC, or use VM's etc.

But why?

Nothing about a Solo update would cause your PC to not connect to the Internet.
