Can't control GoPro 4 from Solo

I never see the RED record button to trigger record on my iPhone. Can see the video but no where onscreen to control the goPro? Am I missing something obvious here?

You will be able to control the GoPro once you get the gimbal.
To record you have to do it on the camera. To save to the device, you have to enable "save to my device" in the app settings.

So until the Gimbal ships I basically start recording before takeoff and it records the entire flight then stop it manually when it lands. Got it...Record to device means whatever the IOS or Android device sees it can record I'm guessing at 720P. Thank you for clearing that up!

Android does not currently record to device. Only iOS.
