Jerry Brown vetoed a bill that would have required property owners’ express permission for drones to fly less than 350-feet over their land.

Thank goodness for that. It would have been a hard pill to swallow if it had passed. Between the FAA 400' limit, and that Ca. 350' minimum, if it had gone through, sure wouldn't have left much of a window for filming.

NO kidding... Worth noting, the bill didn't actually deal with filming specifically, or even if the UAV had a camera. It was ANY UAV.
