Just bought one of these (UK)
It has ability to charge and discharge 4 Lipo batteries 1-6s

Just got to make some leads and we're off.

I was going to make one but I wanted the ability to discharge too.

Let's see how it goes.

Btw.
It was only £159.

Uk buyers, get one now before the sale is off. Should be nearly £200.

Fist attempt on solo battery charger connector made from US 2 prong plug. Fits perfectly

Nice job, a bit of cut and bent credit card/hotel keycard/bonus card in between those prongs and you have the locator lug done.

Yes I'm going to cut a small hole in the side and hot glue it in. I'll post the next "what it looks like."

All done.

I got a USA cables for my stock solo chargers as they won't work here in the UK I used UK 3 pin plug type cables I had already got.
So I have surplus to requirement 3 USA plug type adaptors.
Until now....!

First I bent the prongs to fit my solo battery, as the USA 2 prong plug is the perfect size to fit the solo but the prongs are too wide.

Then I got my "craft knife" and cut a slot into the plug to accept a small piece of plastic to act as the guide.

I temporarily fitted the plastic into the hole, holding with my fingers until I got right, then using my hot glue gun, with some black glue :) I glued the small piece of plastic into the receiving hole. Glueing both sides and filling the hole up. Probably put too much on, but hey, it's my first attempt. As I did this, before the glue set I tweaked the placement of the plastic so it was a perfect fit.

Then put it into the solo battery whilst the glue set.

It works perfectly.

And your wondering what may I ask......?

Oh nothing offensive, I was trying to figure out why the regular Solo chargers won't work. Considering they cost 20 pounds each and are set up to use 240v.

Lol
When my charger arrives on Tuesday I will have a four solo battery charger and discharger.
I just love to mess and play with my glue gun lol.

Fair enough and I kind of figured it was something like that! I'm always tweaking my motorcycle and car so I get it.
