If you recently upgraded to the M8N module (see my recent thread on how to do this if interested) and want to increase reliability further by having the satellites received you can swap the stock 2mm antenna on the mini 8 module I suggestedfor a higher quality taoglas 4mm antenna.
By doing this you are converting the excessive beam width of the stock antenna into higher sensitivity to useable satellites in view and not useless ones at the peripherals of the stock mini 8 antenna.
