Hi Everyone,

I had a motor pod go out causing the drone to not start at all. Once I removed the motor, the drone would start up (Using the latest Solex app and firmware) without any issues. GPS would lock, holding the FLY button would start the three motors.

I then replaced the motor pod and now all I get is all green lights. The GPS locks, gimbal control and video feed work as well. That said the FLY button is completely unresponsive. I've tried reflashing without any change.

Interesting thing is when starting the motors up via the mobile app, it gives a battery failsafe error while beeping repeatedly and showing the RTL settings. Tapping bypass, the motors start. I tried 8 different fully charged batteries and still the same results.

Any idea what might be causing this?

The motor pod you added has something wrong with it that is interfering with the i2c bus. That affects the lights and battery monitor. Try a different motor pod or it could be the cable.
