I have a older 3DR Solo and my gimbal will not boot up straight. I have checked connections but no matter what I do it comes up angled to one side. I have preformed a factory reset a couple of times but it seems to make no difference. 3DR support has not answered one Q!!

Hey there, silly questions, but:

-Is the camera installed in the gimbal.?
-Have you installed the right weight, according to the camera model?
-Have you done a full level calibration of the solo?

If yes to all of the above, can you test the gimbal on a different solo, or the solo with a different gimbal?

Hope this helps

Cheers

Can you post a picture or two of how the gimbal is angled...?

You may want to try a level calibration and even reinstall/inspect the gimbal to make sure something didn't get wonkie...from being old.

BTW everyone has an "older" Solo...just saying.

The gimbal requires a gopro camera (3 or 4) mounted for it to work properly.

Give it another try after installing a go pro camera to the gimbal.

Good luck...
