360x180 panorama experiment from video stills

So, after testing my Solo with my daughter's Hero 3+ Black, I brought the Solo to Fiji to realize that I had the Hero 3+ Silver. Ugh... So, in order to use it I downgraded the firmware to 2.0 version and could at least use it with video. I tested it today and made stills out of the video to make a panorama. Although lower resolution than the Hero 3+ Black, it is doable. [Can't wait to get my hans on the Hero 4 Black next week] Check it out by clicking on the link or the image below:

I've been making little planets but couldn't really get a handle on making these 360 Panos.

Thanks @Tamj . I use PTGui for stitching my photos. Initially I used Hugin which is free but PTGui has a much nicer user interface with more intuitive tools.

Beautiful! Now I want to visit Fiji. Although, already planning for Palawan next year.
