Hi Peen, I believe this is an issue with your iPhone and maybe some settings? I have heard of people experiencing the same issue with the stock app, but never with SidePilot. If you search these forums you might be able to find a solution

Interesting, I will look into it. I know others have been successful so not sure why you are not. Give me a little bit to play around with it. That means that the app was unable to communicate with Solo. Is Solo and the controller turned on and connected to your device?

Hi! When you pressed takeoff, did you enter your desired altitude in the popup then tap the 'Enter' button? Did the Solo have sufficient GPS lock? Also you must do this 'quickly' as after a few seconds if Solo notices nothing happening it will disarm itself. Cheers

Yep! Took mine from Las Vegas to Vancouver then Vancouver to Los Angeles to Australia. Went in overhead each time, only had to take it out of the box once during customs at LAX to show them the battery and which took an extra minute or two.

SidePilot doesn't require cell capabilities (only does if you want to use follow me mode as the non cell iPads do not have GPS, but that can be fixed by tethering to a cell device. As long as you are running iOS 9+ your fine

More like Tower in that it gives you more advanced control over settings and is compatible with Arducopter and PX4, however I am currently working on integrating custom smart shots to make it more user friendly and for the basic users out there.
