Scratch that, it seems that 3DR decided to remove the PWM pins from the Expansion Port for the production models. In fact, they removed more than just that; Pins: 3-4-5-6-7-8-18-20-22 are not connected to anything on the production Solo's Expansion Port. Their intent is to push using UAVCAN...

Pin8 = PWM6 Pin5 = PWM7 Pin6 = PWM8

David is 100% correct. The two wires, SDA & SCL for the Compass i2c bus are not connected to anything on the Solo's GPS Module and are like Teats on a Bull...utterly useless. :rolleyes: Solo has a Compass in its Right Rear leg that provides a much better orientation signal.

Adding a second GPS module is one of the reason I'm building the Solo Expansion module. (Here is a link to that thread) Solo has three unused serial ports that can be wired to for things like this. With only minor changes to the source code, it could switch to a backup or a different type of GPS...

There are 3 PWM Ports on the Expanstion Port, so I don't see any reason why not. I ran them out to three 3-Pin CLIK-Mate connectors and added +5VDC and GND to them. Marked as PW6, PW7 and PW8 What will be needed is to locate the fork of ArduCopter that Marco used to trigger the Canon's USB.
