Thank you for the suggestion but the battery was at least 75%. I was just getting used to flying it again so I was only flying it over my pasture then back to me for a landing.

What is Open Solo? I usually land manually in any case.

That does seem to be the problem. I noticed that it is incorrect when I look at the height it is supposed to be. When I am 1' off the ground, it says I am ~3' so that when I touch down, it shows that I am still flying.

As the weather got warmer I broke out my Solo for some flying. Aside from charging the batteries, I was ready to go. First flight went well but my trouble started when I went to land - it would touch down but not shut off. It started to rise again but then flipped over. It's done this...

Where are you located and do you have any idea how many cycles you've used on the batteries? Pictures?

I when to download the app for SidePilot on my iphone but stopped when I read that some of the features would freeze when used. I don't see the point of using another problematic app unless it's been updated.

Discovered the problem. On the app, there is a section on the bottom for support and that very problem is discussed there. I followed the instructions for correctly clearing the app and reopening it. Simple.

IS0 12.1 The 3dr app I downloaded from the app store. It had been working without an issure until yesterday.

I got my last one brand new off ebay 2 weeks ago. It cost me #37.50 shipped. It may cost more shipping to Europe but I would try ebay.

I was looking for the same thing. I bought 2 and returned both because the reflection I was getting was not working well. My iphone did a better job.

LOL on the Bebop. Best Buys had them on sale for $250 including the FPV setup. I bought in on Saturday night and returned it on Monday morning.

I just got into drones but had been in and out of RC since the 70's. I tried a Bebop for a day and didn't think it had what I wanted so I found a used 3DR Solo and made the deal. The camera comes on Monday but I've been flying it in the meanwhile. Lots to learn.
