I agree I just hope they don't forget about the people that have spent all this money on solo, gimbal and now having to upgrade to a gopro 4 black. Hopefully if they do develop their own camera it will fit the same gimbal and they don't drop support for gopro.

I received a survey from 3DR asking question about my camera usage! If you read between the line it sounds as if solo is going to drop the gopro and make their own camera. I like the 3DR product's I have All of their product's minus The Mapping Plane (But give me time). My only worry for buying the Solo early is they will come out with the Solo+ to follow suite with the product line so far!! I sure hope I'm wrong.

Fenton, MI, Checking in. Have had my solo for 3 week's the gimbal for 2 week's the solo resides in the go pro back pack with 4 batteries and the gopro4 Black I have been traveling with my Solo since bought only had an issue in Alaska it took a long time to acquire GPS.

how about some acceries for SARs (search and rescue) like an IR camera and thermal imaging camera that would hook up to the Gimbal ( GOPRO could produce it using flir technology and GOPRO 4 housings:). and like posted earlier Wi-Fi extender or some type of booster. other then the work around...
