Anyone know what motors and/or props I could put on my 3dr x8 to get better flight time? I thought I had read somewhere t-motors U6 with 15 inch props?

I'm Dusting off my Solo after revisiting this forum, I put it in a corner when 3dr dropped it and invested in Yuneec Typhoon H. Yuneec made a lot of promises that there would be mapping and sdk coming, but instead came out with a new model the H520 and that is all it does it mapping (for $4000)...

You are correct, but Ribcage said they have a mod of their product that will and it's in production and I designing a gimbal for the Ribcage mod that will allow for balancing of different lens

There is also the Ribcage mod that will allow adding interchangeable lens

If I have to map a large farm with Solo( more than I can fly with one battery) do I have to set it up as several missions or would Solo know where it stopped when the battery was low and pick up where it left off after changing the battery

Retracts came to mind for me, but the zoom idea is very interesting as I just received my gopro back with a ribcage mod and a 4.5 to 10mm lens . Now I just have to build my gimbal to carry them

I agree with the OP. I've been flying RC and been in photography since the 70's. There have been many advances in both field, but one thing the manufacturers are all trying to do is make it easier to use so more people will buy it. Now with cameras there are "pro photographers" shooting...

Tarrot now has a 3 axis gimbal, I wonder how that is
