My 3DR Solo is the second 'big' quad I've owned (I taught myself to fly by crashing several Hubsan X4s before I deemed myself worthy of flying something that could do some real damage).
My first big quad is a Tarot 650 built with Pixhawk, 6S power system, and SunnySky X4108S-380 motors. It's a beast, but it can carry a wide range of equipment aloft and gives me over 20 minutes of flying time on 15" carbon props.
The Solo is much smaller and more built to a purpose, but I'm looking forward to traveling with it and taking it to locations where I can't practically haul the Tarot.
