The Mavic propellers look even smaller - but it is lighter. I guess I am still looking to hear from someone who has heard both to know. If a Mavic is just as obnoxious I might just pass on the Mavic for now.

Because I have a solo? If I get a mavic I'm keeping my solo.. they are both good for different things.. the Hero4 black is a better camera than a mavic.

I would take off at 95 or so by the time it is ready and start hovering. I would start a timer from 90% to 25% while hovering the entire time. Take off and landing would not be counted and flipping the battery for round 2 would account for cell discharge rate variation.

It would be easier to use 2 different batteries for the test and run the test twice, switching the batteries for the second run and averaging times.

I think they fluctuate the price in waves on purpose to boost sales and also keep 3dr from having too many customer service emails with defective product or help setting things up. Kinda glad I sold my $350 package for $700 on ebay before it dropped again 2 weeks ago.
