Those modes aren't Solex or Solo specific. They are part of Arducopter Flight Modes — Copter documentation

I'm using a Nexus 5. I've also used my Nexus 7 2013. Both of them show up with my location on the map. Yet, the Solo will not follow me. I'm not sure the shot log will be where i need to look, but i'll try. I wasn't using a smart shot, just the regular follow me mode built into tower and solex...

Those sliders aren't accurate for speed, i don't think. Also, I was running in PosHold mode, rather than Loiter. PosHold has higher MAX Lean angles, so it'll go faster. The sliders still affect the lean angle in PosHold too..which is nice because I can tailor how fast I want that mode to move...

Ok thanks. I'm trying to figure out why "follow me" mode isn't working with my Solo. I select the mode, with either Solex or Tower, and both apps say they've switched mode, but on my transmitter it says "Brake" instead. The control of the Solo acts like it is in follow me mode. I have control...

so I downloaded those logs using winSCP, but which ones are my MAVLink logs? I see a bunch of tlogs (which i have to rename to get APM2 to read) and a bunch of other stuff which isn't MAVLink. How do i get my MAVLink logs?

So, to be clear, it IS possible to just strap another battery onto the solo even if it doesn't have the SMBus connectors? The Solo software won't downright reject it?

Yeah I've seen that! Good work. I'm just not willing to drimmel open a LiPo case just yet. Maybe some company will buy his design and produce it with some level of reliable quality

I clocked 54.9mph the other day Somethings funky here. The longest flight is 3.51 miles, but the farthest out is 5,000+ miles!? Did you get a GPS lock, Arm, and then hop on a 777 across the country?

Hey is it normal for APM2 to take almost 20 minutes to download each log from my Solo? Just got it and first time downloading logs. Also when I try to download logs using mission planner, it never loads the logs list. What's up with that?

I couldn't get Follow/Me (engaged from Solex) to start. It says it has started and I have a speed set, but the Solo just hovers in place when I move around. I don't have a gimbal...but it should still follow me right?

So, the work you've done to make Open Solo viable is excellent. I was wondering if you have a road map of what you'd like to do with it? Or were you just hoping to get a stable build and leave it alone. Since, I assume, eventually all the Solos will die from not having new LiPos. Just curious...
