This has happened to me two times now....I am cruising in fly mode with a GPS lock as always, and suddenly I find myself in Manual Fly mode??? This is pretty scary .... I depend on the GPS as a novice and have to land in manual mode scared I will crash.....this happening to anyone else? Anyone...

I can't get much farther than 400 meters regardless of altitude.....i typically fly over open ocean

I have been having this same problem and don't use a filter

I also have Hero 4 Silver and have done 2 flights w/ gimbal. Same thing....randomly, the gimbal looks like it looses power and flops around looking down....corrects itself in about 10 seconds. I have no idea???

Nice! Winds up at Makiki are pretty harsh too. Solo w/ Gimbal seems to handle it well....not taking your rig to the down under???

Don't know anyone else on island that has solo. I would, however recommend taking a flight out over Makiki....and Kahala beach, I have been getting some killer footage!!!

If you haven't had your Solo for over 30 days I would return it and purchase a new one

IN THE APP, GO TO SETTINGS, TURN ON ADVANCED SETTINGS, THEN GO TO SOLO IN SETTINGS ... THERE YOU CAN SET TYPE OF FLIGHT
