Just thinking out loud: One possible reason for this TFR is that a border operation is planned that uses helicopters. If I were one of those helicopter pilots, I'd be glad to know that the FAA grounded the news drones before I arrived.

Forgive the obvious question, but are you holding down the Fly button long enough? At least in my setup, it has to be held down for a few moments. It does not act like an ordinary on/off button.

Moorer52: Does your Solo contain a stock GPS board from 3DR, or has that been replaced with a GPS board from mRo? If the latter, please note that some people here have said that their mRo boards were set by default to receive three constellations, and that overwhelms Solo's brain sometimes...

Alternative method: In the camera's Setup mode, use the "Reset Wi-Fi" option. That resets its wifi password to the factory default of "goprohero". EDIT -- Oops... the above is from the GoPro Hero 3 Silver manual. It might not apply to the Hero 3 Black model that you have.

Yes: follow the "Factory Reset" instructions in the Solo User Manual. This resets the password to the original default password ("sololink"). I believe that this is the only solution to a forgotten password.

Does Solex have a "GoPro Model" setting? The 3DR Solo app's setting looks like this: I'm asking because when the wrong model is selected in that app, the record button gets grayed out. So maybe a similar setting is necessary in Solex. Just guessing.
