I have not tried optical follow me yet but I have used the Solex "Target" app a few times and it works great. I really have not had the need to use any follow modes in the Camera work I do with my Solo's, but I'm sure someone here will be of more help. Good luck!

To OP, I would just start a new thread here with the advice USMC86 gave, and you'll have your Mavic in no time. I say start a new thread as the guy with the huge feet seems to think that not having a problematic 3rd party GPS Mod cancels out the prices of all your great Solo gear [emoji39] lots...

Best of luck with your sale, and I'm sure you will get the duckets to get a Mavic if you sell wisely. My brain is asking me why though? You have your Solo with all the gear and Mods to get the range of a Mavic, but with maybe 2 batteries, a propritary Gimbal/Cam combo and about the same flight...
