Alright. Here is what I've found. The firmware for the camera operation as well as the gimbal has not been compiled into OpenSolo 4. It is sitting here ardupilot-solo/libraries/AP_Mount at master · 3drobotics/ardupilot-solo waiting for someone to do something with it.
