I've occasionally had this problem in the past, a drooping edge. Never sure what actually fixes it but shutting down, turning off controller, restarting both. I've learned to turn my gopro on first. Just general fiddling, it's a little annoying, but doesn't happen too often.

Try this, I'm on step three of the instructions, I will be doing a battery flight test soon. and will report my results. This battery had less than a 2 minute flight time, so fingers crossed. Solo Smart battery re-calibration procedure.

I figured it out. I tried three things. First swapping the 4Black with a 4 silver running 3.0. Changed settings in the app to silver then shutdown bird. Powered up silver worked fine. Swapped camera back to the 4 black. Changed settings to 4 black in the app, powered on Bird, powered on...

I don't see any reason to go into the pro's and cons of Solo vs Solex app. I have no desire to buy a tablet, just so I can see critical flight information, and if I care to have a better view of camera output I have fatshark HD goggles. So that side discussion is just not relevant to this...

I thought about this a little more, and my best advice is just buy a cheap used Gopro, a hero 4 silver or black depending on whether you value the back LCD or the Higher Resolution more respectively. And try it out when you get there without a gimbal. At that point you can decide whether...
