Any possibility to you sell the gimbal seperately? My hdmi port broke off and I am not sure I'll be able to fix it. Funny second row,of tabs underneath the port that I can't figure out how I would solder without better tools.

The gimbal acts like its sleep walking until the controller connects.. might just be a part of the way it all ties together, but it seems to suggest the 'magic' happens on the controllers IMX6... maybe to reduce load on the Solo companion computer? I kinda assume the little circuit board behind...

@pyrate ... I have been wondering with the green cube running master now... Solo things are appearing in Mission Planner. I resolved my gimbal issue in Mission Planner.. but if I am just running a stock Solo Im not sure how im going to figure out what i can touch. Is.it generally safe to modify...

I saw an explanation of a similar Solo... I think the 3 leds work in combination to make various colours... Your blue is not working, so your white is yellow. As suggested swap the motor pod. Right front would go left rear... The red.light doesnt use so muxh blue light so it will appear fixed...

Is there any reasonthe sololink can't be reconfigured as a wds (wireless distribution system) type arrangement so both the Solo and artoo could be AP stations? Then any wifi camera could be on the sololink network with access to settings,etc.

Did the Alcatel work with a forced install? Did Solex?

Loosely related... The mRo has a multiple frequency antenna, but many of the M8N GPS you can order have a $5 cheaper antenna that is only good for GPS... No mention of that in the specs though... Was true in my case. Seems common but not commonly known.

Neither 3dr Solo or Solex runs on any Acer device I have tried. Avoid MediaTek processors. As for others... Fine until you hit Go Fly
